The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 09, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract for an oxygen consumption analyzer system and adapted plunger assembly as needed to PP SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL INC., 110 Haverhill Road, Suite 301 Amesbury, MA 01913. The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. A Justification for Single Source Awards for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The anticipated award date is September 12, 2023.The Contractor shall provide the oxygen consumption analyzer and adapted plunger assembly for completing the required research test. The following oxygen consumption analyzer and adapted plunger assembly are to be procured as needed:Description of Services: Oxytherm+ system for cellular respiration studies including OXYT1+R, A2, A3, S2/P, S3, S4, S7C, S16, and Adapted plunger assembly for pH or ion-selective electrodes for use with DW1, DW1/AD, DW2/2, or OXYT1. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
