- The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (the βAuthority- or βJTA-) is actively seeking competitive proposals to establish a collaborative research partnership with a university hereinafter referred to as (Consultants- or University) to spearhead a new JTA Research Lab project. This initiative aligns with JTA-s commitment to innovation and its strategic interest in leveraging Artiο¬cial Intelligence (AI) to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery in public transportation. The proposed partnership aims to examine the utilization of AI in public transportation, exploring its potential to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and enhance public service delivery. In addition, the research will identify ways in which transit agency policy can encourage ethical, equitable, and effective AI implementation as further detailed in the Scope of Work.
