NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to DatCard Systems Inc. The Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and Fredericksburg Health Care Center request PacsCube Express Catalyst 6000. The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to DatCard Systems, being the sole supplier of requested items to the VA Hospital and Health Care Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541519 Information Technology Value Added Resellers with 150 employees. Sole source items plus associated equipment: The items that will be purchased are the PacsCube Express Catalyst 6000 w/Prism Printer and supporting equipment.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no Solicitation will be issued. Market research has determined that this product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements.
