- Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is pleased to issue the following Request for Proposals for Public Realm Activation Services for Fort Worth-s Panther Island. We invite your firm to submit a proposal that addresses project understanding, team qualifications, approach, timeline, and fee.TRWD owns approximately 30 developable acres on Panther Island-s North Island that will be developed over time in partnership with qualified development teams. In anticipation of future development, TRWD has identified areas for initial public realm activation, including a central park and canal.The team selected from this RFP process will lead and coordinate the planning, design, and implementation of public realm interventions. Coordination with TRWD staff and other consultants working on Panther Island will be important.
