This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
Product Maganer Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM-SCIE) intends to award a sole source 4-Year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracct with a ceiling of $15M to Airborne Systems North America (ASNA), 3100 West Segerstrom Ave, Santa Ana, California 92704, to provide PERS Systems and Spare Parts. Currently, ASNA is the only vendor capable of meeting the PERS technical requirements and qualified on the Qualified Products List (QPL) for the PERS. ASNA demonstrated this capability IAW MIL-DTL-6645. ASNA provided a technical and management proposal, textile/hardware samples with certificates of conformance, and physical samples of manufactured componenets/assemblies to be qualified and placed on the QPL for the PERS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 314999 with the size standard of 500. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this procurement is 1670.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement with seven (7) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining wheter to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
