The City of Santa Monica (referred to hereafter as “the City”) is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in providing Parking Operations Management Services for an initial term of six (6) years, with four (4) options for renewal of one (1) year each, to be exercised at the City-s sole discretion.Please note the following RFP Alternate included in this RFP: The award will be made based on the base RFP. This document outlines the requirements for the RFP Alternate: Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS). This RFP Alternate is provided as a separate, optional scope of work that may or may not be exercised by the City, at its sole discretion, and in its best interest. The Base RFP for this solicitation covers the Parking Management Operations. The City reserves the right to accept or reject this RFP Alternate, in whole or in part, independent of the award of the Base RFP. Proposers must understand that the inclusion of pricing for this RFP Alternate does not guarantee its award or execution. The City will evaluate the pricing and proposals for this RFP Alternate to determine if its implementation aligns with current budget allocations, operational needs, and overall strategic objectives for its parking facilities. Proposer should include a breakdown of all up front costs and yearly costs throughout the contract term, for both the base proposal and the RFP alternate.
