- The Island Runner is a 56' aluminum vessel that serves as a passenger ferry in Saint Albans Bay, VT between Kill Kare State Park and Burton Island State Park. The vessel is powered by 2 x 3208 Marine Cat diesel engines. The State of Vermont is interested in obtaining bids to remove existing engines and replace with new engines. Engines must meet the equivalent amount of horsepower of previous engines and be compatible with current Hamilton HJ292 Jet drives.
