It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. This Sources Sought Announcement aims to conduct market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and gain knowledge of potential qualified small businesses. Â Â The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339113 SURGICAL APPLIANCE and SUPPLIES MANUFACTURING; Personal safety devices, not specified elsewhere, manufacturing applies to this acquisition, with a size standard of 800 Employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a), Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) mandates that offerors/quoters be registered in SAM.gov when submitting proposals/quotes in response to a solicitation; and (2) FAR 52.204-7(b)(1) further requires offerors to register in SAM.gov at the time of offer/quote submission and maintain active registration until contract award, completion of the performance, and final payment.
