Description:
The Town of Brandon, Vermont, will receive sealed bids for its Summer 2025 Road Paving, at the Office of the Town Manager, 49 Center Street, Brandon, Vermont 05733, until Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2PM. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud. Bidders need not be present at bid opening. Proposals must arrive on time and in a sealed envelope marked “2025 Brandon Road Paving Bid” to be considered. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after opening. Shim & Overlay of portion (see map and Lat/Long provided) of Town Farm Road (Town Highway 18) from end of new pavement at Neshobe Golf Club to end of existing pavement near junction of Richmond Road. Emulsion to be sprayed 0.025 to 0.3 gallons per square yard. ¾” depth shim of ?” material and 1¼” top coat of ½” material. Requires cold planing 1” on Bridge #24 over Neshobe River (18- x 84-) and matching surface of approach roadway on both sides. The winning vendor will key in all road intersections and connections with paved driveways. The use of a rubber wheeled roller is required on this project.
