- The Texas Optometry Board (TOB) is seeking sealed Proposals to establish a Contract for Peer Assistance Program pursuant to the Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 467 and pursuant to the House Bill 1, Article VIII, 88th Legislature, Regular Session, that will identify, assist, and monitor Texas licensed optometrists, therapeutic optometrists and optometry students experiencing mental health, alcohol, or drug problems that are or are likely to be job or school impairing so that they may return to competent practice or studies.
