- San Mateo County Health, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking proposals from interested parties to pilot the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Innovation (INN) Peer Support for Peer Workers. This project will pilot best practices in peer supports for peer workers that work at BHRS or at BHRS contracted community-based organizations. The award for this agreement is pending final approval by the California Commission for Behavioral Health.Both qualified new providers and qualified existing BHRS providers are eligible to apply for funds. The selected provider(s) will work with BHRS staff to implement these services in accordance with MHSA INN requirements.BHRS is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2025-006 for this Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Innovation (INN) Pilot Project. The applicant submitting a proposal shall satisfy all requirements outlined in this RFP.
