Description
The U.S. Embassy in Lilongwe, Malawi is seeking proposals from General Contractors to extend the existing perimeter wall and replace the palisade/metal bars in other parts of the wall with solid brick infill at the U.S. Government Chief of Mission Residence 10/316 - 318. The scope includes:
• Removal of the existing concertina wire from the perimeter wall and pillars.• Extension of the existing pillars and adjacent wall panels to 2700mm/9 ft.• Removal of the existing palisade/metal bars from panels.• Construction of solid brick walls to replace the palisade/metal bars.• Installation of concrete coping on the top of the roadside wall/front.• Installation of concertina wire on the side walls.
