This is a public notice in accordance with FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
The Library of Congress (Library) Conservation Division (CD) requires contract support for regular preventive maintenance as well as non-planned ad hoc service and repairs for the standalone HVAC units that condition the CD Secure Storage Facility (SSF) and the Gutenberg Bible display case. Regular preventative maintenance and non-planned service and repairs shall be provided for all Parameter Generation and Control (PGC) equipment, systems, and supporting components that comprise the SSF and Gutenberg case. Regular preventative maintenance must include two onsite service visits per year, ongoing phone and email consultation to troubleshoot and remediate equipment malfunctions, and service documentation. In some cases, the Library may require emergency services as prompt repair is required to avoid the removal of the Gutenberg Bible from display or the housing of other nationally important collections in improper environmental storage conditions for an extended period.
In accordance with LC06.305 Availability of Justification, the Justification and Approval (J&A) to issue a sole-source contract to Parameter Generation and Control, Inc is posted with this notice. Please see the attachments section for the J&A and Statement of Work (SOW). - Documents:
