The Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Operational Contracting Division, is currently conducting market research seeking capabilities statements from potential sources, including small businesses (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) small business that are capable of providing Physics Support for Radiology Equipment for Eglin AFB, FL.
SCOPE. The contractor will provide annual and as-needed (install/post modification/post repair) medical physics equipment evaluations for digital radiography (DR), fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), digital breast tomosynthesis mammography, and stereotactic breast biopsy devices. Additionally, the contractor will provide medical physics consulting services including shielding design and verification, radiation dose estimation/consultation, and CT protocol review. Determination of all requirements will be made by the hospital with consideration of applicable regulations and available internal capabilities.

Proposals/Quotes/Bids are not being requested or accepted at this time. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
