Description
A 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation will be issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 1620-01-089-3527, a PISTON ASSEMBLY, LANDING GEAR. The award will be for a 5-year base period. The Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ) is 40 EACH. Production units will be FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin. Item is critical and deemed a Navy Critical Safety Item. Government First Article Testing, Export Control and IUID apply. Surge does not apply.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The OEM is Sikorsky (CAGE 78286) in accordance with part number 70250-12066-041. Approved sources are GOODRICH AEROSPACE CANADA LTD. (CAGE 02121), HEROUX-DEVTEK INC. (CAGE 36164), CANADIAN COMMERCIAL CORPORATION (CAGE 98247), MACHINE SPECIALTIES, LLC (CAGE 1DDX0), NASSAU TOOL WORKS, INC (CAGE 2M490), MERRITT PREFERRED COMPONENTS INC (CAGE 2X665), ES3 PRIME LOGISTICS GROUP INC (CAGE 4JZH8), HDI LANDING GEAR USA INC (CAGE 5ZBP4), ES3 PRIME LOGISTICS GROUP, INC. (CAGE 6LKA3) and GKN FOKKER AEROSPACE B.V. (CAGE H1632).
DLA Aviation does NOT possess technical data on this part. Any other interested contractor would have to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package for approval to be added as a source by the assigned ESA.
