Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source                            The Department of Veterans Affairs, Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, NY, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to BIOTRONIK, INC. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for a follow-on requirement to purchase additional PK Papyrus Coronary Stents. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it s proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced.  Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for the future requirements. No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquires will be honored.
