NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 intends to solicit and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with Biotronik, Inc. (6024 Jean RD Lake Oswego OR 97035) in accordance with the 41 U.S.C. § 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The contract anticipated effective date is May 17, 2023, for a period 60 days or until delivery is completed. This contract is for PK Papyrus Covered Coronary Stents for the VA North Texas Health Care System 4500 S. Lancaster Rd. Dallas, Tx. 75216 The NAICS code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. All capability statements shall be sent to the points of contacts below and received not later than 4:00 PM CST on May 26, 2023. The determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the synopsis.
