- Lancaster County is searching for qualified firms for Culvert Replacement on Plyler Mill Road, Lancaster, SC 29720. The work is part of an overall project known as Otter Creek at Plyler Mill Rd. Culvert Replacement Site. Work will consist of replacing two existing 90\" CMP culverts with a single 31 ft by 11 ft bottomless box culvert.The activities include 232 linear feet for temporary stream impact comprised of installation of a constructed riffle at the inlet and outlet of the bottomless culvert for stability (42 ft total) and stabilization of 190 lf of streambanks with live soil lifts. The project involves temporary impacts to not more than 0.05 acre or 232 linear feet of waters of the United States. Specifically, this letter authorizes temporary impacts to 232 linear feet and 0.05 acre of tributaries.
