THIS IS THE OFFICIAL INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB).
Amendment 0001
Section 1.1, Contracting Officer-s Special Information and Instructions, Bid Opening, is hereby revised to state the following:
BID OPENING
There will not be a face-to-face public bid opening. All Contractors providing an electronic bid submission must still meet all requirements listed under “Bid Submission Documents” in the solicitation. The bid opening and public reading of the bids will be via teleconference. Bidders may call 1-872-701-0185 at 2:00 PM (Central Time) on Friday, 6 June 2025, and enter phone conference ID 770136320# to join.
THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7003 (b), bidders must be registered and certified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov) as a SDVOSB. Only bids from verified SDVOSB s at VetCert database at the time of bid submission shall be deemed responsive. All non-responsive bids shall be rejected and ineligible for award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Maintenance of Other Hospital Buildings, with the applicable small business size standard of $45,000,000.00. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), the bidders must represent to the Contracting Officer that it is a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition. In accordance with VAAR 836.204 and/or FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction for this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Black Hills VA Health Care System (BHVAHCS), Hot Springs VA Medical Center (VAMC), located in Hot Springs, South Dakota, is issuing an IFB in accordance with the procedures set forth in Part 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
