Amendement 001 (31 July 2025) - Statment of Need (SON) has be updated to better meet the requirment of the customer.
The mission of the 9th Force Support Squadron (9th FSS) plays a crucial role in supporting the overall mission readiness and well-being of military personnel and their families at Beale AFB, California. The primary mission of the 9th FSS is to provide a wide range of essential support services and programs to enhance the quality of life for service members, civilians, and their families. The 9th FSS is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of the base swimming pools. Crane fly larvae infestations have been an ongoing problem at the pools, occasionally requiring closure of the main pool. Fallen leaves, branches, and other debris also accumulate during fall and winter. Pool covers would mitigate these issues and ensure the pools remain open for public use. - Documents:
