The Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to extend the solicitation closing date to Friday, March 28 at 2:00pm PD, and to update the Provisions and Clauses with Attachment 6, Updated Provisions and Clauses. The National Park Service (NPS) at Point Reyes National Seashore has a requirement to remove the Propane Furnace in the Park Rangers Headquarters and install an electric heating system. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing furnace, providing a new high efficiency heat pump, and installing the heat pump into the existing heating duct system. The project is located at Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, CA. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238220, with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotations are solicited only from small business concerns. Quotations received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered.The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. Evaluation for award will be made in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 13.106.
