The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that are capable of providing Position Stages. NIST requires these stages to move an optical fiber relative to the focus of a CO2 laser for optical machining of optical fiber facets. Position reproducibility of 0.5 micrometer or better along two axes is required with the lowest possible drift per the attached Requirements/Specifications.
