Description
NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) has a requirement for the acquisition of Potable Water Services, including the sourcing, treatment, distribution, and management of safe and clean drinking water to meet the specific needs of LaRC.

NASA LaRC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the services from Newport News Waterworks as the sole provider of Water Utility Services in the location of services being required in Hampton, VA. The authority for this requirement is FAR 6.302-1(b)(3).

If the acquisition is for commercial item(s), include the following statement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Michael Kruszewski, Michael.kruszewski@nasa.gov not later than 12:00 PM EST on September 22, 2023. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
