- This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for market research purposes only. This SSN is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This SSN does not commit the IRS to contract for any supply or service. Further, the agency is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. This SSN is being published to identify potential sources capable of providing support services for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) PR4001 IRA Modernization Project.
Responders are advised that the agency will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this SSN; all costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party-s expense. Not responding to this SSN does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the agency sources for additional information.
The City View Plaza (PR4001) modernization project is a critical initiative supporting the Internal Revenue Service-s (IRS) efforts to enhance the telecommunications infrastructure at the PR4001 Post of Duty. This project aims to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance with federal standards.
The IRS seeks contractor support to upgrade data cabling to comply with industry standards at IRS Building PR4001, Puerto Rico. This project involves comprehensive cable plant planning and design review, the selection and procurement of components, development of installation designs and specifications, the preparation of accurate cost estimates for all project phases, the development of phased project scheduling to ensure minimal disruption, the installation of CAT 6A structured cabling systems, network racks refresh, and the execution of detailed testing and documentation of all installed systems.
