The US Mission Geneva intends to award a sole-source contract to Siemens Industry for switchgear maintenance.
Siemens electrical supplier is to provide labor and materials to perform Tier Ill maintenance on the switchgear at the Mission to ensure emergency power is not compromised at the U.S. Mission Geneva. Maintenance is currently due on the switchgear. Considerable wear has been observed on critical components of the switchgear. These components must be replaced by a Siemens certified technician with OEM Siemens parts which can only be provided by the manufacturer - Siemens. - Documents:
