- This posting is for pre-qualification for the upcoming Invitation for Bid (IFB). All prime contractors must be pre-qualified in order to bid for this project. Pre-qualification packages are due 15 days before the bids are due. Refer to the bids due date also known as bid opening date to determine the pre-qualification packages due date. There will be another posting for the IFB - pre-qualified contractors will be able to submit their bid documents there.For purposes of this Contract, the Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct soundwalls located on both sides of the I-280 freeway in San Jose from Los Gatos Creek to State Route 87.
