General work description:The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will be soliciting an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for “Roll-Up Door Replacement for Guadalupe Yard Building A” (Project).Notice is hereby given that VTA is now soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from bidders (Bidders) with construction expertise to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to build full scope includes replacement of 8 existing roll-up doors with bi-fold doors in the Guadalupe Light Rail Yard, building A. Modify existing paint compressor shed to allow the swing of the new doors. Full scope is split into three-part bid. The base bid will include the replacement of the 4 doors at tracks #3 and #4 and the compressor shed modifications. Bid option 1 will include the replacement of the two doors at track #7 and bid option 2 will include the replacement of the two doors at track #8.
