In accordance with FAR 5.203(a), this is a pre-solicitation notice that serves to synopsize a planned solicitation.
The U.S. Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development Mission to Jordan (USAID/Jordan), contemplates issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to award a contract for implementation of the USAID/Jordan Water Engineering Services II (WES II) activity. The envisioned program anticipates support to the water, wastewater, and environmental sectors by implementing multiple tasks, specific assessments, designs, tendering support, and construction management services, among other activities. USAID anticipates that the prospective solicitation will be open to qualified Jordanian Architect-Engineer (A-E) Consulting Firms classified as Class 1A by the Government of Jordan (GOJ).
The solicitation is planned to be released in approximately two weeks from the date of posting this synopsis and will be made available electronically upon its release to https://www.sam.gov/. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at https://www.sam.gov. Prospective potential Offerors are advised that this pre-solicitation notice is not a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Qualifications/Proposals will not be accepted in response to this notice.
This notice in no way obligates the US Government to issue an RFQ/RFP and/or award a contract. Any solicitation that may result will be subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds.
Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFQ issuance. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the aforementioned website and solicitation number for updates concerning this procurement.
