Amendment 001: The purpose of this amendment is to post questions and answers, as well as extend the RFQ closing date to 04/11/2025.
Amendment 002: The purpose of this amendment is to specify the required valve size, per question 2 in the Q&A.
Amendment 003: The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate Q3 into the Q&A.
Amendment 004: The purpose of this amendment is to update the solicitation to full-and-open with a Brand Name or Equal for Forum Energy Technology's (FET) Ball Valve 6700 series, Part #: PBV C-6715-71-2218-ZV-NB-546 requirement.
Q1) would be open to considering the Reduced Port (RP) floating style valve as a substitute to the ANSI 1500 trunnion-mounted ball valve?
A1) A Reduced Port (RP) may be acceptable depending on the flow coefficient (Cv) of the valve. The technical team would have to compare the specifications for the proposed substitute to determine if it is acceptable.
Q2) Could you please confirm the valve size?
A2) This requirement is for a 6” valve.
Q3) What is the temperature information for this requirement?
A3) The operating temperature for our application is 3C-35C.
