This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items or Services”, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This solicitation number is 5000204789 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, effective 01/17/2025.
The National Distribution Center (NDC) of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), hereinafter referred to as the "Government," possesses one Baum Folder and one PRESS100 Conveyor. The extended warranty expires on March 11, 2025. The IRS has a requirement to maintain this folder and conveyor beginning March 12, 2025, and ending March 11, 2029. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract for one base year and three option years. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible manufacturer-authorized offeror with the lowest evaluated price, satisfactory performance record, and can meet all the requirements listed on the statement of work (SOW).
This requirement is set-aside for small businesses.
Sources who believe they can provide the product/service listed in the Statement of Work (SOW) must submit a price quote and respond to all highlighted sections in writing no later than 3:00pm EST on Monday, February 3, 2025, to Contract Specialist James.M.Tryniak@irs.gov
