- The Project Includes Replacing Primary Clarifier No. 2 2019S Mechanism And Associated Equipment At The Waterpollution Control Facility Due To A Major Mechanism Failure. Work Includes Replacing The Main Clarifiermechanism Including The Bridge, Center Column, Scum Trough And Beach, Sludge Collector Mechanism,Connections To Existing Piping And Existing Pumps For Sludge Handling, Removal, And Replacement Of The Groutlayer On The Clarifier Floor, And The Replacement Of Electrical Conduit And Wiring Associated With The Electricalequipment For The Mechanism. Additionally, As An Alternate The Project Includes Installing A Jockey Pump Inthe Effluent Pump Station, Fittings And Restraints, Structurally Modifying The Pump/Pipe Gallery, Providingvariable Frequency Drive (Vfd) For The New Pump, Connecting To The Scada Panel And Plc, Associatedelectrical And Controls Equipment/Wiring.
