Description:
The City of Rancho Cordova (City) originally posted this request for proposals on February 4, 2025 with proposals being due on February 24, 2025. Due to the limited number of responses received in response to the original proposal, and the due date being the Monday following the CSMFO conference, the City has decided to re-open the RFP for an additional week. With the exception of the due date, there have been no changes to the original proposal. All submittals received during the original posting remain sealed and will be reviewed and evaluated at the same time as this posting.The City is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms (Proposer) to audit its financial statements for a three-year contract, beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 (with the option of renewing for an additional two-year contract), in addition to performing other financial audits and reviews as specified below. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and the audit requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
