Description:
The Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) seeks a qualified vendor to provide hands-on cyber training for its IT staff. The training should enhance the professional development of the IT personnel by covering essential topics relevant to cybersecurity. The program must include both theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience to ensure a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity tools and best practices. The training must culminate in certification at the intermediate level or higher in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Cyber Defense Analyst requirements. The training at a minimum must include:How to use common tools such as tcpdump, wireshark, and zenmap.Password auditingNetwork Discovery and SecurityWindows and Linux OS permissions managementFirewall rule creationCryptographic validation and PKIMust result in a certification at the intermediate level or higher in DoD 8140 Cyber Defense Analyst.Training should be continuous and presented in person or live online over a period not to exceed a week and accommodate four MSDH members.
