Description
This is not a request for quote/proposal but a synopsis notice. Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Performance Improvement Officer/Director for Administration and Management (OPIO/DA&M), intends to award a short-term, sole source contract to the incumbent Contractor, Analytic Services, Inc. [CAGE Code: 4A458, 4040 Wilson Blvd, Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22203]. The services are being extended to provide professional support services to the Director of Administration and Management (DA&M).
The Contractor is currently performing services under Contract Number HQ0034-25-F-0126 with services concluding on April 15, 2030. The anticipated period of performance for the bridge Contract is for a three (3) month base period, with three (3) 1-month option periods, from May 1, 2025, through October 30, 2025. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6 Limiting sources.
Failure to issue a follow-on award as a bridge contract would create an unacceptable and significant lapse in support for the OPIO/DA&M offices, while the Government continues to work through ongoing processes with contract number HQ0034-25-F-0126.
