THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OF A SET-ASIDE FOR VSOB Veteran Owned Small Business Bid-Build (B/B) Install Parking Garage Fall Protection, Project No. 573-16-603. This procurement is set-aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127.
SET ASIDE FOR VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (VSOB): This solicitation is being issued as a Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institution Building Construction with a size standard of $45M.
The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This Firm Fixed Price project will be Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside, as stated above.
This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) is posting the synopsis for the follow-on RFP #36C24825R0118 Bid-Build (BB) - Install Parking Garage Fall Protection, Project No. 573-16-603, located at Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center Gainesville, Florida 32608.
The estimated period of performance to Install Parking Garage Fall Protection is for a total of 371 calendar days for all phases of the project after receipt of the notice to proceed. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and supervision to install parking garage fall protection at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Gainesville FL. The scope of the project will include installing ballistic quality screen mesh and physical barriers over open areas of all three parking garages above the first level. Contractor furnish all labor and materials and perform work in accordance with design and specifications included in the follow on acquisition package.
