Description:
This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform work for the project titled Construct Consolidated Boiler Spaces at the Loch Raven VA Healthcare System s Campus in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to demolition and removal of existing structures, architectural, mechanical, with a heavy concentration on plumbing, electrical, landscaping, etc required to completely prepare the site for building the Consolidated Boiler Spaces at the VAMC Loch Raven campus. The expected duration of this project is anticipated to be 730 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
Competition for this procurement is restricted to SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB).
Estimated construction cost range is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 238220 [Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors], size standard: $19.0 million. The offeror shall obtain all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of Maryland.
