RFIs:What is the thickness of the existing wall to be modified in G12B?ACG Response: Wall is believed to be 6 or 3 5/8 stud wall. Invasive survey was not permissible. The 3 5/8 16 ga studs to be added for welding the diamond mesh to will fit either scenario. 2 1/2" 16 ga studs permissible if wall is 3 5/8 .Can new bollards be sleeved in lieu of paint?ACG Response: YesWhat is the thickness of the concrete on sheet CS100?ACG Response: Borings of the concrete were not taken. Assume 6 thick.It is unclear from detail 11/A-601 how to attach the new studs onto existing wall. Please provide additional front elevation showing height and attachment method for new studs.ACG Response: The height of additional studs is from floor to underside of deck. Welding is called out 16 o.c. both ways, add 16 ga horizontal blocking where needed. There are mulitple acceptable ways of attachment for new studs to existing. This can be determined by cold form vendor. Sheet A-100 Key Note 6 does not appear to be used in the drawing.
