This is a request for information/market survey. This is not a request for proposal, request for quote, or an invitation for bid. There will be no solicitation, specification, or drawings available at this time.
Naval Facilities Engineering System Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic is soliciting comments from the public addressing the potential use of Project Labor Agreements (PLA) for the following construction project. The construction project is for a Building. Construction may include, but is not limited to, constructing five (5) Containerized Long Weapons Storage Two Bay (CLWS 2B) High Explosive magazines, two segregation facilities, and one forklift charging station to support Naval Munitions Command Atlantic. Magazine construction will consist of reinforced concrete mat foundations, walls, floors, entrance and loading aprons. Segregation facilities will be constructed of pile foundations, reinforced concrete walls, floors, roof, entrance and loading aprons. Facility-related control systems include cybersecurity features. Paving and site improvements includes relocation of Turkey Road, access drives, stormwater management features, paved truck loading and unloading area, perimeter security fencing and gates, signage and landscaping.
