THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute as a soliciation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a request for quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract to accomplish the inspection and repairs of a propulsor "PC.1A" and "Leading Edge Ring" onboard a Virginia-class submarine in accordance with work specification HRMC-504-25.
The tentative Period of Performance for this requirement will comence on 25 March 2025 with a delivery date of 31 May 2025. The performance location will take place at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF.
This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with forthcoming solicitation N32253-25-Q-0019. PHNSY & IMF intends to post a solicitation on or about 26 February 2025.
This pre-solicitation is issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. This is not a request for quotes. Therefore, responses to this notice are not being requested and may not be considered, if received.
There is no set-aside for this requirement. This requirement is considered full and open. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,300. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J020 - Maintenance, Repair, Rebuild of Equipment - Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding to the forthcoming solicitation must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at httph://www.sam.gov by the award date.
