Description
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will host a hybrid Industry Day in support of a planned Program Announcement (PA) for PROtein SEquencing (PROSE) on June 30, 2025, at the DARPA Conference Center and via webcast from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. The goals of the Industry Day are:(1) To introduce the science and technology community (industry, academia, and government) to the PROSE program vision and goals;(2) To facilitate interaction between researchers with capabilities and interests relevant to the PROSE program goals;(3) To discuss approaches to IP and data rights to facilitate both a. successful technology commercialization and b. long term government access to PROSE technologies; (4) To collect questions during the event that DARPA may answer and make available in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document maintained at https://www.darpa.mil/work-with-us; and(5) To encourage and promote teaming arrangements among organizations that have the relevant expertise, research facilities, and capabilities for executing research and development responsive to the PROSE program goals.The Industry Day will include overview presentations by government personnel, opportunities for team building among the participants, and meetings with the government team. It is anticipated that recording of Industry Day and materials will be posted online at https://www.darpa.mil/work-with-us.
