Description:
The City of Charlottesville, Virginia is looking to purchase a public engagement software platform that facilitates community participation in civic engagement processes via an online portal able to support the full spectrum of public participation. Offeror(s) should demonstrate their experience and qualifications to implement and support a platform that can integrate with the City-s website, including public participation best practices and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) standards.Offeror(s) should provide an online engagement platform with diverse engagement opportunities for all stakeholders, including information sharing, digital feedback tools, optional project update capabilities that for areas and/or topics that are important to them. Also, the platform will need to provide the ability to have an unlimited number of active projects, as well as an unlimited ability to show completed or archived projects.The platform will need to allow at least five (5) administrators with platform-wide access, as well as at least ten (10) project-specific users who have access to specific project pages. Platforms should also be scalable to accommodate future organizational growth and adaptations to accessibility and engagement best practices.
