Tender are invited for The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Oil and Gas (Division), has received an application to lease up to 800 acres of state land located on the west side of the Dalton Highway within Sections 1-4, 9-12, and 13-16, Range 13E, Township 6N, Umiat Meridian, and Sections 25-28 and 33-36, Range 13E, Township 7N, Umiat Meridian. The request is for a 50-year lease under AS 38.05.070 and includes construction of an access road, gravel pad, and commercial facilities, with final acreage to be determined by project scope and survey. The Division is soliciting interest under AS 38.05.070(d) to determine if there is interest from other parties in developing this site for commercial or industrial purposes. If there is interest, the Division will proceed with a competitive auction under AS 38.05.075(a).
