- The City of Pueblo is soliciting proposals from qualified non-profit organizations to manage the homeless shelter property located in the 700 block of West 4th Street in Pueblo. The City is seeking a shelter operator to manage a dignified residential setting that supports persons experiencing homelessness to successfully transition back to housing stability.The awarded organization shall manage day-to-day activities, offer case management, perform data collection, and other support services to the homeless population within the City.There will be a monetary award through this contract of up to $534,489 for the first 12 months of operations. The awarded proposer will be allowed to use the facilities free of charge to provide homeless shelter and services. Additionally, the City will cover basic utility (gas, electric, water, sewer) expenses and provide routine maintenance to the facilities.
