Description:
The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (Agency), on behalf of the Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento and the Housing Authority of the County of Sacramento, and its constituent entities, is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for licensed General Building contractors (B-General) interested in performing repairs and rehabilitations at various public housing sites. The Agency aims to expand its list of qualified contractors by selecting responsive and responsible submissions. A pre-proposal meeting is highly recommended but not mandatory. Possible subcontracting trades include the following:Cabinet, Millwork & Finish Carpentry; C-6, Ceramic & Mosaic Tile; C-54, Drywall Contractor; C-9, Electrical Contractor; C-10, Flooring & Floor Covering; C-15, Framing & Rough Carpentry; C-5, Landscaping Contractor; C-27, Lathing & Plastering; C-35 , Painting & Decorating; C-33, Plumbing Contractor; C-36, Roofing Contractor; C-39, Asbestos Abatement; C-22Additionally, applicable subtrades may vary from project to project and could include other subtrades not listed here. A specific list will be included with each bid.The services under this contract may be used by any department, division, or legal entity of the Agency. The services may also be used for those special projects the Agency takes on in targeted communities and administers on behalf of federal and local funds for a variety of community service programs.
