The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this pre-solicitation synopsis for W519TC-25-R-A009.
This pre-solicitation synopsis is notice regarding the Repair of the Southwest Patio on Quarters 1 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL.
This requirement will be a 100% total small business set-aside.
This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forthcoming and will have all the necessary documents, including a scope of work.
IAW FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
The scope of this project includes the demolition of approximately 1,000 square feet (s.f.) of existing composite concrete on metal deck patio slab and associated stairs and railings. Construction of a new composite patio slab will include an integral drainage plane and be sloped for drainage to the south. Steel structure will be added to the top of existing wide flange beams to achieve the desired slab slope. New stairs, railings, and a handicap accessible ramp will be added to improve access to the building.
Three manholes will be removed along with corresponding abandoned drainpipe. Three new storm manholes will be added along with corresponding drainpipe, sump pit, trench drain, and connections to mitigate storm water on the site. A new sewer manhole and sewer pipe will be installed to allow for the installation of the new handicap ramp.
