- Description The base bid for the Rathbun State Fish Hatchery improvement project includes the work necessary to remove the existing liner, repair any grading issues, install new liner, install concrete apron around the existing kettles and stairs, and repair the existing sluice gates. Bid alternate 1 includes the removal of the existing concrete stairs and installation of 6- aluminum stairs with railing. Bid alternate 2 includes removal and replacement of the existing aerators and all electrical service required to power the aerators. Bid alternate 3 includes removal and replacement of all 6-in. butterfly valves and one 8-in. butterfly valve located in Manhole 1.
