BLM-Wyoming - Rawlins Field Office - RAWLINS eDNA INVENTORY AND SAMPLING - Notice of Sole SourceIntent to Sole Source: This is not an request for quotes or proposals. It is BLM's notice to sole source the requirement below as we are not aware of any other vendors who can perform said service. Therefore, this notice is for market research, future requirements which may be solicited with competition, and a signal to the market that this requirement exists. There are no other descriptions, statements of work, or specifications available or posted at this time.This is a new contract with no incumbent. Previous analysis has been done either in-house or with a purchase card.In accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures BLM-WY intends to award a sole source contract to Jonah Ventures, LLC UEI: UH7DCSGGJXQ7 for two types of lab analysis of Smith Root filter samples (Smith-Root and Jonah Ventures eDNA Analysis) with a proprietorially-curated DNA sequence database to ensure appropriate quality control standards. The awarded shall be able to meet specifications including the ability to perform high-sensitivity analysis (replicates) for no fewer than three taxonomic groups and have the ability to process both Smith-Root proprietary (i.e. self-preserving) eDNA filters in addition to providing and analyzing additional filters of the Jonah Ventures design via the same rigorous methodologies described. This action is based on the determination that Jonah Ventures is the only vendor available with the required access, resources and certifications for this analysis.If you have the required knowledge, skills, resources, certification and authorization to the proprietary information to perform these services, please email your contact information, UEI, and capabilities narrative to the POC below no later than the closing date of this notice.
