42nd Communications Squadron (42d CS) at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6334, has a requirement to replace the REACT Communication Control Unit (CCU) in the Command Post supporting the Maxwell-Gunter Giant Voice Emergency Notification System. The system provides signals or messaging appropriate to Force Protection Conditions, watches, warnings, evacuations routes, and other alerting information to meet Federal, DoD, Air Force, AETC and base specific warning and notifications in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR). This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) (Reference-Number (F2X3C55085AC01).
