The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source level-of-effort contract to Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road Groton, CT 06340. The contract will be for engineering and design support associated with performing the role of Planning Yard for reactor plants and associated portions of the propulsion plants of nuclear-powered submarines. The contemplated contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a). Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly. This notice is for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available.
This pre-solicitation synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts.
