Description:
The Sale of Real Property services are for the Public Guardian and the Public Administrator programs.Populations served: The services provided are for clients of the Public Guardian program and decedent cases of the Public Administrator. Contractors will collaborate with AAS staff to list and sell the properties.The Public Guardian and Public Administrator programs provide conservatorship and estate administration services as specified by the California Probate and Welfare and Institutions Codes. Real property sales are supervised by the court and typically involving listing the property with a licensed real estate agent, advertising the property, and seeking court confirmation in a public hearing before finalizing the sale, ensuring the best price for the estate while acting in the best interests of the conservatee, beneficiaries, or heirs.The contracts will be issued annually and are in a total amount not to exceed $300,000 per contract for up to five years.
